SSC & Oracle partners with SKC28 to produce weekly show ACLC Enews

The ACLC Supreme Student Council and the ACLC Oracle newsletter editors recently forged a partnership with local tv channel SKC28 to lauch the TV show ACLC Enews.

Among the many upcoming activities on this partnership are:

(1) Search and discover from among ACLC students potential  newscasters, newswriters, scriptwriters.  Auditions will be conducted within the month of February.

(2) Shoot newsworthy ACLC activities and projects as well as exemplary ACLCians

(3) Produce interesting news features of many events of the Kalilangan

(4) Conduct a Broadcasting Workshop with the popular ABS-CBN personalities as resource speakers on topics such as Effective Newscasting, Tips & Strategies in Making News Features, Tips and Tricks in Getting Impressive News Videos

 

 

ACLC launches TeknoPinoy 2012

During this year’teknopinoys Kalilangan Festival, ACLC launches the TeknoPinoy 2012. This outreach program is in partnership with  DepEd, TESDA, DTI, Globe Telecom and the local government of Gensan.  TeknoPinoy aims: (1) to increase awareness on the rising demand for world-class skills, (2) to transfer skills in animation, web development and multimedia broadcassting and (3) to discover potential talents that can be further developed into globally competitive transcibers, animators, web developers and broadcast journalists.  This year TechnoPinoy aims to reach at least 10,000 students of ten beneficiary schools in SOCSARGEN.

CAMPUS TECH TALKS.  A demo-training on graphics, animation and multimedia editing targeting at least 10,000 youth in schools and barangays. In this project, skilled ACLC students transfer their acquared skills by demonstrating them to the beneficiary students.  This year four topics will be introduced to the TechnoPinoy participants: Photo Manipulation, 2D Animation: Character Sketch, 2D Animation: Animating Objects and  Video Editing and Visual Effects. The demo-training will hopefully inspire the young students to hone their creative talents and skills towards global standards.ctt

QUEST FOR YOUNG ANIMATORS. This event aims to discover at least 10 talented artists per school whose entries will compete in an inter-school level. The top 10 winners in the interschool event will be awarded 50-100% scholarships in Visual Graphics NCIII or 2D & 3D Animation NCIII The. To be a major global player in animation, SOCSARGEN must be able to produce at least 300 skilled 2D/3D animators within the next five years.  This project will hopefully help fill up the supply gap.

Kalilangan Festival 2012 partners with ACLC, SKC28 and SkeptronBiz Solutions

Tkalilangan logohe local government of General Santos City and the Mindanao State University will launch a more colorful and vivacious Kalilangan Festival this year.   The theme this year is "Convergence in Divergence: Enriching Heritage, Bridging Cultures".

ACLC College of Gensan will again provide the technical support for the festival's tabulation and audio-visual needs. All ACLC students who are interested to share their time and skills in tabulation, graphics and multimedia preparations please apply at the Admission office.

Also ACLC students who are interested to be E-News Patrollers to do news features of the key events of the festival should apply at the Admission Office or the SKC28 office found within the ACLC complex.
